The Hermosa Beach City School District and the City of Hermosa Beach have jointly unveiled a draft of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Plan. The NTMP, which is the result of a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two entities, is available for public comment through February 28. The draft NTMP proposes a range of mitigation efforts and design adjustments to address neighborhood concerns over traffic patterns associated with the upcoming construction and opening of a new North School.

The plan was developed with input from the City and the District, but perhaps most notably, from a range of community input efforts. These include a recent run of community meetings that were the latest in a long line of community input events that span back to before Measure S was fist drafted. Considerable input also came from a Stakeholder Group that was staffed with members from across the community.
Hermosa Beach residents and stakeholders can click here to download the draft NTMP then are invited to visit the NTMP page on the City website to submit any comments on the draft (scroll to the bottom of the page). The City and District will vote on adoption of the plan in March after reviewing all comments.
