Hermosa No. 4 Place for Single, Rich

One of the best U.S. cities to look for love could be Hermosa Beach, that is, if you're looking for someone rich and single.

CNNMoney has named Hermosa Beach as the No. 4 city to find the rich and single—neighboring Manhattan Beach came in as No. 1.

Other California towns included Beverly Hills (No. 3), Coronado (No. 8), Marina del Rey (No. 13), and Irvine (No. 14), along with a slate of East Coast and other U.S. cities. 

The listing says that 47.5 percent of Hermosa Beach's 19,082 residents are single and that the median family income is $134,033. The listing reads:

"Despite its multimillion-dollar homes, the vibe is relaxed in this beach paradise that's teeming with singles. The athletically inclined will feel at home—bikers and runners flaunt their toned bodies along the beachfront Strand.

If you're looking for a playful opportunity to get physical with the opposite sex, join a game of coed beach volleyball—a local preoccupation—or score more than just a touchdown during a game of beach flag football. When the game breaks up, continue the good times at one of the many bars or on Pier Avenue."

One of those bars is , which Patti Stanger, star of Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker, in April said on Twitter: "Great single manspotting place...Sangria is the bomb hot spot" (see accompanying photo.)
