The World Games Special Olympics are coming to LA in July 2015 and several South Bay cities are Host Towns. Our guests this morning are Laura Leventhal, Program Coordinator for the Special Olympics World Games; William Yarroll, chair for Host Town El Segundo; Judy Peetz, co-chair for Host Town Manhattan Beach; Jody Leventhal, chair for Host Town Hermosa Beach; and David Dill, Director of Local Program Development and Coaches Education for Special Olympics Southern California. This morning, we’re going to find out what it takes and what it means, to be a Host City for this incredible event.
