The Marsee Auditorium Comes Alive With the Voice of Nathan Stark El Camino College welcomes an "original...voice of power and resonance."

An established emerging artist in the opera community, Stark has entranced audiences with his vocals in China, Europe, and the United States. Mr. Stark has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Madison Opera, and Cincinnati Opera.

As a performer whose solos have been described as having “unearthly power,” his limitless talent gained him the spot as “the feature soloist for the 2005 nationally televised opening ceremonies for the Air Force One Exhibit” where the attendees consisted of prominent society figures such as former First Ladies Laura Bush and Nancy Reagan, current and former members of U.S. Congress, and former president George W. Bush.

The operatic trail blazer is the recipient of as many as 12 awards including first place in the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music Corbett Scholarship Opera, and the Classical Singers Association Vocal Competition.

Mr. Stark will be demonstrating his gifts by performing Ibert’s Quatre Chansons de Quichotte, a new song cycle by American Composer Scott Grendel titled What We Did Not Know along with songs and arias of Handel, Rossini, Verdi, and Broadway classics.
