Did you miss us, ladies and gents? We sure as shit missed you. So here’s what we’ve got in store for you. The singer/songwriter, shit talker, lover, fighter, over user of the word ‘balls,’ Meiko, will be live at Saint Rocke Sunday, August 18th. She is a siren. She loves to swear, has the soulful voice of an angel, but will not hesitate to rip off your balls or make fun of them. She independently produced her first self-titled album, “Meiko” in 2007. In 2008 she re-released “Meiko” produced by Lucky Ear/MySpace/DGC. Once the world got to know her, they were surprised that it wasn’t re-titled “Balls.” Since then she has released another LP, “The Bright Side” with Fantasy/Concord Records. Her songs have been played on numerous television shows and she has appeared/performed on many a talk show.
Not only does Meiko love to say balls, but also cooks a mean set?/pair? of turkey balls. The recipe is conveniently located on her website.
If the ‘singer/songerwriter’ genre is your jam then Meiko is a MUST SEE. Come see her live, listen to her angelic voice with you ears, and amaze at her beauty with you eyeBALLS. bAll jokes aside, Meiko is a very gifted and talented musician and it will be an intimate show worth seeing.
