Passing periods have always been a problem for Hermosa Valley students during the school year, because they are way too short. By: Jack Decker “Passing periods have always been a problem for me when I forget something I need in my locker, and I can’t get it!” says Henry Stanton, a sixth grade Hermosa Valley middle School student. Believe me, its very true that the passing periods are too short. The passing periods are only four minutes and that leaves middle school students unprepared. I think that the passing periods should be changed to at least six to eight minutes. The passing periods need to be longer.
