Mira Costa High School receives $10,000 donation from Ralphs to help replace stolen band instruments.
Celebration was abound at Mira Costa High School on Friday as Ralphs Manhattan Beach donated $10,000 to the school's music department to help defray the high cost of replacing earlier this month.
Before the student body gathered for a winter pep rally, Principal Ben Dale annouced the donation by the supermarket, which surprised students. Amid the marching band and cheerleaders at the rally, a large check was delivered.
