Recently we’ve been getting a lot of questions. “Why do you always have tribute bands?” or “Why do you have so much reggae?” “When’s Fartbarf coming back?” Well, firstly, boys and girls, we do not always have tribute bands. But the tribute bands we do have, are so fucking AMAZING, we are forced to have them back due to fan demand. Secondly, we play a lot of reggae because that’s what people like to hear when they’re ‘right da beach, boyeeeee’. It’s geography. It’s rad. We like it. Thirdly, when is Fartbarf coming back? Friday. So fucking mark your calendar.

Saint Rocke’s FREE FRIDAY is June 21st at 8PM and will be featuring drink specials like $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon (Party)! FREE FRIDAY is: Fartbarf, The Curly Wolf, Band Pax, Monster House, and DJ Ancona. In other words no tributes, no reggae. Because sometimes you have to step outside of your comfort zone in order to have a good time.

Fartbarf (yes that’s the real name) is a three man, analog electronic band that was formed right here in South Bay in 2008. With two-parts synthesizers and one-part drums, “…their music breaks unprecedented ground as they push progressive sound to the limits, mixing genres together with very minimal instrumentation and extreme high energy.” They are truly a unique show. Wearing jumpsuits and gorilla masks, nothing sums up Fartbarf better than the last line of their manifesto, “Everything fun mustn’t always be Fartbarf, but everything Fartbarf must always be fun.”

You’d be a total fool to miss this show. You might as well move to the valley.
