SHADE HOTEL IN MANHATTAN BEACH INTRODUCES "OPEN MIC NIGHT" THURSDAYS

Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, the area’s only luxury boutique hotel, has introduced “Open Mic Nights” at its popular zinc@shade on Thursday evenings. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests enjoying the lounge’s hand-crafted cocktails and popular small plates prepared by Chef Chris Garasic will enjoy an acoustic showcase featuring talented, undiscovered singers.

“Shade is known for its casual, energized allure,” said Shade’s General Manager Shaunna McKelvey. “Providing up and coming singers and opportunity to showcase their talent in front of a great crowd while providing our guests with outstanding entertainment, is the perfect combination.”

The open mic nights join Shade’s previous entertainment offerings. Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8 p.m a DJ plays the latest hits for guests to enjoy while Sundays are Jammin’ Sundays, featuring South Bay beach rock band, The Lucky Ones from 4 to 8 p.m.
