Slopestyle

Yay, the first slopestyle event, and America won. This great event was won by Sage Kotsenburg from where many other people and I live. If you don’t know what slopestyle is, it’s a fast free style course that is judged on how well the tricks were. Fun fact: I was snowboarding when this happened. All of this awesomeness was made at Sochi, Russia where the Olympics are being held and many fans in Hermosa Beach cheer the Olympians on.

All people were amazed on February, 8, 2014 that this snowboard event was being held when many people in Hermosa were boarding. Sage Kotsenburg did an amazing aerial maneuver and got a score of 93.50 and now he encourages kids to snowboard at Hermosa Valley School.
