SOUTH BAY GALLERIA TO CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH ITS ANNUAL 1,000 POINTS OF LIGHT EVENT

The holiday season is back and so is South Bay Galleria’s annual 1,000 Points of Light celebration. The center has announced that it will kick-off the season with its annual 1,000 Points of Light holiday event on Saturday, December 6, complete with indoor mylar confetti, festive lights, and holiday carols.

“We are excited to bring this magical holiday experience to South Bay Galleria to enhance our guests’ enjoyment during the holiday season,” explains Sher Haddon, Marketing Manager at South Bay Galleria. “The holidays are such a magical time of year and bring so much joy to kids and families alike, and with this annual celebration, we have found the perfect way to bring the holiday season to life for all of our guests.”

The annual 1,000 Points of Light event will bring families and local community members together for a celebration of peace and joy, while singing holiday carols and illuminating the center with festive lights and candles, led by the Journey of Faith Adult and Kids Choir.

Kids and families will also have the opportunity to take holiday photos with AmuseMatte, a digital photography system that utilizes technology to deliver the best in Santa and holiday photos.

The first 1,000 guests to register will receive a free LED candle to hold while they sing. The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. with free cookie decorating (to the first 100 participants) presented by local charity Walk with Sally.

Check-in for the event will also begin at 3:30 p.m. near Guest Services on Level 1 in the Nordstrom wing. At check-in, guests will be able to pick up their free LED candle and song sheet.
