South Bay by Jackie Weekend Guide May 21, 2015
Everything that's happening in the South Bay of Los Angeles

It’s hard to believe this is the 200th edition of the Weekend Guide. The old adage still holds true – time really does fly when you’re having fun! I launched South Bay by Jackie.com almost 4 years ago with the goal of making both residents of, and visitors to, the South Bay, aware of the many fantastic activities and events the area has to offer. I made the decision to embrace the entire South Bay because each city has its own distinct charms and unique events; and when you pull them all together, it becomes a powerhouse destination that individual cities wouldn’t achieve on their own. When family and friends come to visit, I take them from El Segundo to the Hill and everywhere in between and they’re always surprised (and sometimes astonished) at the treasures to be found in our corner of Santa Monica Bay. I’m thrilled you take the time to explore my recommendations – your support is so very much appreciated. Thank you.
