Here in the South Bay, it is often difficult to distinguish a change in the seasons. Summer may be unofficially over but you wouldn’t know it from the scorching heat. It’s a good thing we have football, Oktoberfest and Back to School events to remind us Autumn is on the way.

Lou’s on the Hill hosts Thursday Night Kickoff: Football + Frank tonight, Thursday, September 10 beginning at 5 p.m. Join Lou and the gang for the NFL season opener (Steelers vs. Patriots) in Rocco’s Room, a secluded “man cave” for the evening with its mammoth 90″ flat screen TV and a range of seating options. Grab a table with friends and enjoy the action, including a special menu of Burgers & Beer for only $20. Then, at 9 pm, join Lou up front in the main dining area as he launches the Frank Sinatra Centennial countdown celebrating Sinatra’s 100th birthday. Drink in classic jazz and celebrate the Great American Songbook with a fresh modern twist, compliments of Lou and an ensemble of L.A’.s finest first-call session musicians and jazz artists. For additional information and to make reservations, call 310-378-4288 or visit the website at http://lousonthehill.com/.
