As a self-proclaimed “dirty reggae” band, The Aggrolites are here to change your life. If you already have not heard of The Aggrolites, they are a Los Angeles-based reggae/ska band that started back in 2002. As a conjunction of two former reggae bands, the talent that they have combined has created a new world for reggae music. The Aggrolites have appeared on Nick Jr.’s TV show, Yo Gabba Gabba!, toured with Slightly Stoopid, and won an IGN Award for Best Reggae Album of 2007 to say the least.
Their success has created a huge fan base, and this upcoming summer they will be playing for Warped Tour, showing them the “rougher side of reggae.” With all of these tour dates and performances, it will be hard to catch a show unless you are an avid traveler. Catch them at Saint Rocke this Friday and get your AGGRO on!
