Trip to New York By: Ava Perman This summer, my family and I are going to take a trip to New York. However, this isn’t my first time. I was born there and grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey. Ever since we moved out to Hermosa, we take an annual trip to New York and New Jersey. We will be flying there on June 26th and coming home on the third. While we are there we are going to do a lot of things. One day we are going to walk from 5th Avenue to 7th Avenue and go into stores such as the original Macy’s and Sacks 5th Avenue. The next day we will go to Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Then I will go to New Jersey to visit some of my old friends and my best friend. There I will go to restaurants and spend time with my friends for three days. On our last day, my whole family and I are going to see a Broadway show. We are seeing the show called Kinky Boots. I am very excited for my trip and can’t wait to do all these fun things!
