"As You Like It" Play Presented at El Camino College
Shakespeare's timeless romantic comedy opens November 1 in ECC Campus Theatre
Comic twists and turns abound in the fertile Forest of Arden, where a disguised Rosalind seeks refuge after being wrongfully banished by her uncle. William Shakespeare’s enduring romantic comedy “As You Like It” runs in El Camino College Campus Theatre at 8 p.m Nov. 1, 7, and 8 and at 3 p.m Nov. 2 and 9.
Mathew Talbott directs the play that highlights adventures of Rosalind as she encounters some of Shakespeare’s most beloved characters: colorful fools, witty rustics, and the handsome, lovesick Orlando. A courtship ensues in this timeless and transcendent romantic comedy.
