Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate
About Us
The Setia Hati Terate Brotherhood (PSHT) is a traditional martial arts school originating from Indonesia. PSHT was founded in 1922 by Ki Ngabei Ageng Soerodiwirdjo, a figure of the Kejawen school. The main philosophy of PSHT is to defend truth, loyalty and belief in God Almighty.
PSHT combines various elements of traditional Javanese martial arts such as pencak silat, martial arts, and mysticism. The school teaches a variety of defensive techniques, including punches, kicks, locks, and acrobatic moves.
Apart from self-defense, PSHT also encourages its members to develop good moral attitudes, such as discipline, respect and honesty. This organization also upholds brotherhood among members and provides shared values.
PSHT has various branches and colleges throughout Indonesia and also in several other countries. They often hold martial arts performances and competitions to promote Javanese culture and preserve the heritage of traditional martial arts.
In its development, PSHT has become one of the largest martial arts schools in Indonesia and has a significant influence on the world of pencak silat and martial arts in the country.
