"Curator A. Laura Brody presents Diverse City, a collaboration between The Arroyo Arts Collective and Underdog Bookstore, featuring artists:

REBDUCE (aka Rebekah Sechrist) and Rebecca Nabarrete.

The exhibition opens March 9, 2026 from 11 AM - 1 PM with a visible mending workshop led by the curator, and the show runs through June 13th.

All supplies are provided and the workshop and exhibit are free to the public.

REBDUCE is a queer disabled woman of color, an artist and activist whose art embodies divine feminine energy and activism for social change extends through her nonprofit ARTWATER.

Rebecca Nabarrete is a Latina Los Angeles based artist with a BA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in painting and video. Her art work is collage like imagery painted on found paper which is enlarged and informs the narrative. This is their first time working together.
