Cypress Village Tunnel Celebrates ONE YEAR of ART UNDERGROUND

This Saturday May 10th, come out and help celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the opening of the (underground) Cypress Village Tunnel Art Walk!!!! Woohoo!!!

The street will be closed for us to enjoy Art, Music, Spoken Word, Local Crafts and Local Community Resources staged in and around the tunnel beginning at 5:30 PM

The re-claiming of community space was the vision of Yancey Quinones, owner of Antigua Coffeehouse. Raised in Cypress Park Yancey knew of the bad history involving the tunnel which had remained closed for years. Wanting to improve and empower the neighborhood he grew up in, the re-claiming of the tunnel is an extension of Yancey’s coffeehouse theme: Community, Progress, and Sustainability. Let's celebrate the tunnel, they community, the city and….. Yancey!!!!
