Driver Killed In Highland Park Crash
A 29-year-old man died early Saturday morning when his car struck a power pole in Highland Park.

HIGHLAND PARK, CA — A 29-year-old motorist in Highland Park was killed Saturday when he crashed his car into a power pole.
The motorist, driving a 1996 Acura Integra, was going northbound on Figueroa Street near Avenue 62 at 2:20 a.m. when he lost control of the car, left the roadway and struck a power pole, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
The motorist, the lone occupant in his vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, Herrera said.
