Dryer Fire Spreads Through Mount Washington Home

MOUNT WASHINGTON, CA -- A fire that started with a dryer in a Mount Washington home quickly spread through the house Tuesday night.

At around 6:40 p.m., firefighters responded to a call at 915 N Terrace 49. A fire that started with a dryers extended into the second-story kitchen of the home, according to Los Angles Fire Department Spokeswoman Margaret Stewart. It took 31 firefighters to knock down the blaze and stop it from spreading to the attic.

No injuries were reported, and authorities have yet to release a dollar figure for the damage.
