Authorities said Milton stabbed the 49-year-old victim after getting into an argument with him. Milton fled when the bus stopped at North Figueroa and Meridian streets, but he was arrested the next day by the sheriff's Transit Policing Division.
Milton, who is due back in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom for sentencing on April 26, faces up to 26 years to life in state prison.
