Man Shot Dead In Glassell Park ID'd By Coroner

BREAKING: The arrested, suspected shooter was in the hospital in critical condition, police said.

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man who was fatally shot in Glassell Park over the weekend was identified Wednesday by police, who said the alleged killer was hospitalized in critical condition and facing a possible murder charge.

The shooting occurred about 12:10 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Drew Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Raul Borja, 29, of Los Angeles died at a hospital about an hour later, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

Eric Servin, 30, was wounded during the shooting and was hospitalized in critical condition, according to police, who released no details about the circumstances of the crime.

A homicide detective said he could only confirm that Servin was booked on suspicion of murder.
