Mac celebrated by going on a hike in the Arroyo which he and Togi, our other dog, LOVE! It was the first time Mac was in water where he had to swim. He's definitely not a water dog. He'll stand in it and drink it if he's hot, but otherwise he could care less about it. Togi, on the other-hand loves splashing around and swimming.
When we arrived at the "deep" water Togi jumped right in. Mac sauntered over and stared as Togi splashed around. Sometimes I think Mac just watches Togi while secretly rolling his eyes at Togi's goofiness. Eventually, I put Mac in to cool him off. He swam right over to the river bank, climbed out, shook off, and sunbathed instead.
Happy Birthday to my Mac. I'm so glad we found you and that with the help of many kind and caring people you are here to turn 3 years old! Love you Mac! xox
