1 Hurt In Hollywood Hills Home-Invasion Robbery

Police are looking for three armed men behind a violent home invasion robbery in Hollywood Hills.

HOLLYWOOD, CA —A homeowner was injured in a violent home-invasion robbery in the Hollywood Hills Monday when three armed men forced their way in, authorities said.

The robbery happened at about 4:25 a.m. in the 3300 block of Oak Glen Drive, according to Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim described the suspects only as three men dressed in dark clothing, all of them armed, Eisenman said. One of the residents was struck on the head, possibly with a handgun, and sought medical treatment, she said.

No vehicle description was released. NBC4 reported that the suspects entered the home about midnight and tied up the residents, who reported the crime about four hours afterward.
