101 Freeway Lanes, Ramps To Close Overnight In Hollywood
Drivers can expect lane and ramp closures as crews perform bridge rehabilitation work.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — Drivers traveling through Hollywood can expect overnight lane and ramp closures on the southbound 101 Freeway for three nights next week as crews perform bridge rehabilitation work, Caltrans announced.
The closures are scheduled from Thursday, Aug. 20, through Saturday, Aug. 22, and will affect freeway lanes and several on- and off-ramps around Vine Street, Gower Street, Hollywood Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard.

The schedule is subject to change, according to Caltrans.

Thursday, Aug. 20:
- Up to three lanes of the southbound 101 from Vine Street to Gower Street will be closed from as early as 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- The Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound 101 Freeway will be closed from as early as 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- The Gower Street off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- The Vine Street off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- The Vine Street on-ramp to the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
- The Cahuenga Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 21:
- Up to three lanes of the southbound 101 from Vine Street to Gower Street will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
- The Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
- The Gower Street off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
- The Vine Street off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
- The Vine Street on-ramp to the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
- The Cahuenga Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 8 a.m.
Saturday, Aug. 22:
- Up to two lanes of the southbound 101 from Vine Street to Gower Street will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 9 a.m.
- The Hollywood Boulevard off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 9 a.m.
- The Gower Street off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 9 a.m.
- The Vine Street off-ramp from the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 9 a.m.
- The Vine Street on-ramp to the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 1 p.m. until 9 a.m.
- The Cahuenga Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 101 will be closed from as early as 11 p.m. until 9 a.m.
The work is part of a $20.8 million bridge rehabilitation project to rehabilitate the Argyle-Franklin Undercrossing and Gower Street off-ramp bridges.
