Gunman At Large In Hollywood Boulevard Double Shooting: Police
A man opened fire across a bustling stretch of Hollywood Boulevard Wednesday night, wounding two people, police said.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man suspected of shooting two people outside a busy Hollywood restaurant Wednesday night remains at large Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers responded to Hollywood Boulevard and Selma Avenue just before midnight, where they found two 25-year-old men who had been shot. One victim was lying on the sidewalk, police said.
The shooting, outside Status Restaurant & Lounge, occurred while the area was busy with people standing outside and in packed restaurant, Fox 11 reported.

Police said the two victims had just finished dinner and walked out of Status when the gunman, standing next to a car across the street, opened fire, KTLA reported.
The victims — one in critical condition — were taken to a hospital. The second victim was listed in stable condition, police said.

Witnesses said the suspect ran away from the scene in an unknown direction and is on the loose, police said.
