Two Severely Injured After Sedan Flips Over On 101 Freeway

Firefighters and paramedics were working to extricate two people from the inside of an overturned vehicle near Sunset Boulevard.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters and paramedics worked free two people trapped inside of an overturned sedan in Hollywood on Saturday. The pair suffered serious injuries, officials said

The single-vehicle crash was reported on the northbound Hollywood 101 Freeway at Sunset Boulevard at 10:10 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

"Firefighters skillfully freed two seriously injured adult occupants from their overturned sedan, which came to rest overturned on the northbound Hollywood Boulevard on-ramp, after striking two light poles," said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Both people were rushed to a trauma center. Drivers in the area were advised to expect delays.
