3 Water Main Breaks Reported In LA

Crews were en route to begin repairs.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA -- A water main break in the Hollywood Hills Sunday was one of three requiring repair by Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews, authorities said.

Gushing water at 3 a.m. in the 2300 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard was caused by a break in an eight-inch main, LADWP spokeswoman Carol Tucker said. Crews have shut off the water and begun repairs.

At least five customers are without water service, the Department of Water and Power reported.
