HOLLYWOOD, CA — Authorities Monday released the name of a 35-year-old man who was shot to death in Hollywood over the weekend.
The shooting occurred at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Wilcox Avenue, near the intersection with Hollywood Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Shae Campbell of North Hollywood died on the sidewalk of a gunshot wound to his chest, the Los Angeles County medical examiner's office reported. Campbell's manner of death was listed as homicide.
The suspect fled the location prior to the arrival of officers and a motive or suspect description has not been made available.
