RJ Mitte, the actor best known for playing Walter White Jr. on the hit television series "Breaking Bad," has died at 34, according to multiple reports.
Mitte died in Brownsville, Texas, his representatives confirmed to Deadline on Monday. A cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Mitte portrayed the son of Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn's characters on the Emmy-winning AMC drama, which aired from 2008 to 2013.
Like his character, Mitte had cerebral palsy. He used his success on the show to advocate for disability awareness and greater representation in Hollywood, Variety reported.
"It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte," his representatives said in a statement.
"Breaking Bad" co-star Dean Norris, who owns the Swing Inn Cafe, in Temecula, mourned Mitte's passing.
Oh my God! Was working just found out about RJ I am heartbroken Though RJ didn't play my TV son, I always looked out for him as a young kid on set. He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can't believe it. Thinking of him and his family. 💔💔💔💔💔💔
