The Ball Up team is coming to Nokia Plaza at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 21st in search of the best streetball talent in the area. The family-friendly event will begin with open run tryouts at Helen Bernstein High School at 11 a.m., and 10 players will be selected to go head-to-head with the undefeated Ball Up all-stars, where a basketball legend will serve as a guest coach. The live basketball game will take place at Nokia Plaza at 6p.m. MVP’s at each tour stop chosen by the coaches and judges will have the chance to compete in the Las Vegas championship event in August. Ultimately, one player will win a spot on the roster and a contract worth $100,000 at the conclusion of the championship. At each tour stop, there will be special guest appearances and musical performances between the streetball action on the court. Ball Up provides local basketball players an opportunity to go pro and establish a career as a professional player. Come out and cheer the team on during the tryouts.
