A Bewitching Production in Pacific Palisades

A bewitching production of Bell, Book and Candle is now running at Theatre Palisades just off Sunset on Temescal Canyon Rd. Last night we were privileged to attend the invitation only dress rehearsal and the audience was as captivated as we were. What happens when we are tempted to push our will over others, what is the cost in the short and long term. It's all part of the cackles and tears in this delightful production directed by Brandon Polanco, the force behind the Earth Mother film.

This inspired play was written and first produced in 1950, then inspired the 1974 movie as well as the tv series Bewitched, but it could have been written yesterday as it is a timeless story. Cast includes: Jasmin Haver, Andrew Cereghino, Laura Goldstein, Jeff Coppage and Michael Anthony Nozzi. The backstage Witches were a delight as well.

The run starts tonight, June 2 and runs on Friday and Saturday evenings, with Sunday matinees through July 8th. Grab your tickets and broomsticks and enjoy a lovely evening at a local community theatre.
