Body Found At Crash Scene At The Los Angeles Film School

A man died following a collision in the parking garage at the Los Angeles Film School on Sunset Boulevard.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The body of a man was discovered in the parking garage of the Los Angeles Film School Thursday morning, and police were working to piece together the circumstances leading to his death.

At about 1 a.m., police were called to the 6300 block of Sunset Boulevard where they found the body of a Black man in his 70s, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Annie Moran.

He appears to have been involved in a fatal crash with a parked car and parking garage post, Moran said.

After investigating his death as a possible hit and run, detectives concluded the man was the driver of the crashed vehicle and may have suffered a medical emergency, contributing to the crash. A passerby at the scene attempted to help him, KTLA reported.
