Boy Epic to Perform at School Night in Hollywood Tonight

Boy Epic, whose slick videos and great songs have earned millions of hits and just as many fans, will be performing at School Night in Hollywood tonight at 10 p.m.

Boy Epic, who is signed to Hollywood Records, is a major up-andcoming talent multitasking in directing, producing, songwriting and performing.

“I look at songs like movies," Boy Epic says. "I think about storyboards, the climax—visualizing what my character might go through or who he might be going through it with. The movie works its way through my mind as I write lyrics.”

Even his live show is filmic: Boy Epic, before a white screen, his band artfully in silhouette behind him.

Boy Epic taught himself the guitar and the piano and piano is still his favorite instrument.

And as much as his family is proud of who Boy Epic has become, he says his mom would prefer he paint a more happy picture with his work.

“My music disturbed my her at first," he says. "She used to ask me, ‘Why is everything you do so depressing? And I’d say, ‘Because there are a lot of depressed people in the world, and I’m trying to help them.’ But now she totally gets it."
