'Breaking Bad' Actor Was Accused Of Sex Assault; No Charges Filed

Dean Norris, a Temecula actor best known for playing Hank Schrader on the hit AMC series, was accused of sex assault in New Orleans.

TEMECULA, CA — Dean Norris, a Temecula actor best known for playing DEA agent Hank Schrader on the hit AMC series "Breaking Bad," was accused of sexual assault last summer in New Orleans. But prosecutors declined to file charges, according to a new report in the Los Angeles Times.

A 32-year-old Ohio woman told police and the newspaper that she asked Norris for a photo in June because she was a fan of the show. Norris invited her and a second woman out for drinks at a bar, she said, and then back to a condo where he was staying.

The woman said she drank too much and blacked out. She doesn't remember going to the condo, but awoke the following morning naked and confused. She said Norris then sexually assaulted her even though she rebuffed him multiple times and physically tried to stop him.

The Orleans Parish district attorney's office confirmed to the newspaper that prosecutors declined to file charges because there wasn't enough evidence.

Michael Holtz, an attorney for Norris, told the newspaper the allegations were false and weren't supported by witnesses or evidence.
