HOLLYWOOD, CA — A water main burst in Hollywood Hills overnight sending a flow of mud and debris flowing down the street. However messy, the burst main did not force any evacuations.
The water main broke happened at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on private property in the 2800 block of Sunday Trail, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power. The property owner will have to bear the brunt of the damage and the cost for fixing the broken main.
The DWP was able to shut off the water, but it was unclear if anyone other than the property owner was affected. Multiple broadcast reports said the nearby intersection of Woodrow Wilson and Pyramid drives was closed due to the debris.
