Annika Rose's "Call Me" Single Release Performance and Press Conference

Annika Rose's "Call Me" Single Release Performance and Press Conference

Event Details

1058 S Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90019

On August 4, Annika Rose releases her single "CALL ME" and holds a press conference in Los Angeles to open the READ ALL ABOUT IT era. At a podium of microphones, she will deliver a short address on why she is putting music back into print, take questions from the press, then step down and perform four unreleased songs from the EP.

The event also launches the Bond St. Bulletin, the newspaper Annika wrote and printed to go with the release. She will sign copies on site before the paper stocks in independent bookstores and record stores.

Annika has been making newspapers for her releases since last year. She has printed three, given away more than 5,000 copies, and run newspaper drops in major cities on release days. Each one expands on the story behind the songs. The Hollywood Rebound covered the approach in March, writing that print is not dead for Annika Rose.

She signed to Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment at 13 as part of an all-girl band, spent two and a half years there without a release, and was dropped at 15. Everything since has been independent: three EPs, a feature on G-Eazy's "In My Head," and a following of about half a million.
