Caller Threatens Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center

Police are investigating a threat made to the Hollywood hospital, but no evacuations have been ordered.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A caller phoned in a threat to Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, triggering a police investigation Friday.

Los Angeles Police Department Officers were called to the hospital located at 1300 N. Vermont Ave. shortly after 10 a.m. Friday. Department officials did not identify the nature of the threat, and no evacuations had been ordered as of 11:30 a.m.

Authorities were not warning residents to avoid the hospital.
