Crews Battle Hollywood Hills Home Blaze
Firefighters were able to stop a porch fire from engulfing a home in Hollywood Hills.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters battled a blaze under the porch of a one-story home in the Hollywood Hills Friday.
Crews were able to tackle the fire in just over a half-hour about. Firefighters were called to the scene at 3:20 a.m. to the 1600 block of North Rising Glen Road where they found the porch engulfed in flames. Crews were able to keep the flames from spreading to the home, according to Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A knockdown was declared about 4 a.m. and no injuries were reported, she said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
