DON’T WAKE ME I’M STEALING-Christopher Williams arrested for theft! @MsLashaunTurner

Christopher Williams has been arrested on a misdemeanor charge for petty theft in a McDonough, Ga. Kohls store. He allegedly grabbed a pair of JBL headphones worth $99.99, threw them in his tote bag and attempted to walk out the store. He was arrested and later released.

If true, I certainly hope this was an honest mistake. Christopher Williams gave me one of my most memorable photo ops back stage after a performance. I’ll never forget how sweaty he was.. Williams, emerged during the late 1980’s as a recording artist for Geffen Records, scored many hit singles, notably “Promises, Promises”(1989), “Talk to Myself” (1989), and “Every Little Thing U Do” (1993). The single “I’m Dreamin'” (1991), from the New Jack City soundtrack, became a #1 single on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks charts.
