Fire Damages Hollywood Hills House Early Friday Morning

The fire took nearly two hours to extinguish, and the cause of the damage isn't yet known.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A fire damaged a Hollywood Hills home early Friday morning. The fire was reported at 4:52 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Courtney Avenue, near Hollywood Boulevard.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and found heavy fire pouring out of the building, with a neighboring house exposed to flames according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Firefighters had the fire mostly taken care of within an hour, but the flames were not fully extinguished for nearly two hours.

No injuries were reported, and the extent of the damage wasn't immediately known. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
