Fire Scorches Hollywood Duplex

The cause of a duplex fire in Hollywood is under investigation.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A duplex in Hollywood was damaged in a Friday morning. The home was vacant, and no one was hurt in the blaze, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire broke out at about 8:30 a.m. on the 5700 block of Carlton Way. Crews extinguished the flames in just 17 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and authorities are assessing the cost of the damage inflicted.
