Firefighters Douse Brush Fire In Hollywood Hills

Firefighters were dispatched at 10:52 a.m. to 2290 N. Laurel Canyon Blvd.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- Firefighters put out a stubborn, 100-feet vegetation fire in difficult terrain in the Hollywood Hills Saturday.

Firefighters dispatched at 10:52 a.m. to 2290 N. Laurel Canyon Blvd. had the fire out at 11:59 a.m., said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were reported and no structures were threatened, Humphrey said.

Motorists were advised to expect congestion and delay on Laurel Canyon Boulevard and in the immediate vicinity for the next two hours.
