Former Clippers Owners Donald and Shelly Sterling Call off High-Profile Divorce

The couple had separated just before their 60th anniversary after Donald Sterling was recorded making racist remarks to another woman.

LOS ANGELES, CA- Former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his wife, Shelly, have called off their divorce, court records show.

Attorneys for Shelly Sterling filed court papers on March 4 asking that her divorce petition be dismissed.

Shelly Sterling's attorney, Pierce O'Donnell, issued a statement to BuzzFeed News confirming that the divorce was off, saying "Donald and Shelly have decided not to proceed with the divorce action brought by Donald."

The billionaire filed for divorce last Aug. 5, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup. He later filed a lawsuit against her and the NBA, alleging they forced him to sell the tea.

The two were married for 59 years before separating in August 2012.
