Great Holiday Shopping this coming Sunday in the Neighborhood

The first ever Holiday Market for Makers will be held next Sunday in Hollywood featuring more than 80 independent local handmade artisans. Santa will be there as well as DIY workshops, photobooth fun, interactive art projects, and a kid’s activity zone. Favorite food trucks will offer nourishment throughout the day. It is an ideal time for independent local vendors to offer handmade gift ideas to the community.

Natalie Nagengast and Trista Tripp founded Markets for Makers in October 2015. Trista explains, “Our first adventure, Pierce Street Market, was much different than many others in the Tampa area as it focused on the makers and the community. As December 10th is International Human Rights Day there will be an International Walk for Human Rights organized by volunteers from Youth For Human Rights to promote the importance of Human Rights education in all schools.
