LaBonge Suggests New Hold Music for City Phone System
Councilman Tom LaBonge suggests the city should change its hold music with tunes inspired by Los Angeles.
One motion stole the spotlight at Monday's City Council meeting where the city's $7.2 billion budget was unanimously approved, reports The City Maven.
During the budget discussion, Councilman Tom LaBonge asked staff to replace the city's hold music with songs inspired by Los Angeles.
Some of LaBonge's suggestions include "Coming into Los Angeles" by Arlo Guthrie, "Walking in L.A." by Missing Persons, "California Dreaming" by The Mamas and the Papas and more.
