Hollywood Boulevard To Stay Closed For Series of Premieres
The closure of Hollywood Boulevard for Sunday's Oscars will stay in place for the premieres of "Feud" and "Beauty and the Beast."
HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Oscars may be over, but a major road closure in the area will continue for a few more days thanks to two more red-carpet events.
Hollywood Boulevard will remain blocked between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue until 6 a.m. Friday, according to the city Department of Transportation. The Oscar red carpet, bleachers and other accoutrements are expected to be removed by Wednesday, but a pair of premieres will keep the street closed for a few extra days.
On Wednesday night, a red-carpet premiere is scheduled at the Chinese Theatre for FX's anthology series "Feud," starring Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon.
