Hollywood Bouncer Claims He Was Slugged By Lil Wayne At BET Awards After-Party: Police
The rapper's reps deny the punch occurred.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A bouncer at a Hollywood nightclub told police that Grammy Award-winning rap artist Lil Wayne punched him at an after-party celebrating last night's BET Awards, TMZ reported today.
The doorman was working at Hyde on Sunset Boulevard for a party Wayne and rapper 2 Chainz were hosting. TMZ said several friends of Lil Wayne were turned away at the door, leading to an argument that ended when the rapper allegedly slugged the doorman.
The bouncer reportedly went to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries and called police.

Police confirmed that an altercation took place and a report was taken at 12:50 a.m. No arrests have been made and the investigation of a possible battery is still ongoing, according to Los Angeles Police Department Officer Tony Im.
Sources in Wayne's camp told TMZ that he denies punching the man and that the only altercation took place when the doorman didn't recognize Wayne and grabbed him by the arm. The doorman later apologized and worked in the rapper's VIP section all night, according to those sources.
