Hollywood Freeway Homicide Victim Identified
Police identified 1 45-year-old man whose body was found near the Sunset Boulevard off-ramp of the Hollywood (101) Freeway.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A 45-year-old man whose body was found near an off-ramp from the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood and died from force trauma to the head was identified Friday by the coroner's office.
The victim was identified as Marcos Espana. Police said he may have been a transient.
Officers went to the area near the Sunset Boulevard off-ramp about 8 a.m. Tuesday, on a report of a man on the ground with an apparent head injury, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

A motive for the killing was unknown. No suspect information was available and no arrests were reported.
